Apartamento El Balcón de la Plaza del Pilar II

I made an honest mistake and booked this hotel for May 2026, thinking it was a certain property along the camino. It wasn’t. Less than a week later, I tried to cancel, but they wouldn’t refund my money. The stay was still more than four months away. I understand that I agreed to the no-refund terms, but it’s honestly frustrating. Make sure you’re certain before booking here.

We loved being right in the middle of everything, with so many great restaurants and cafes within walking distance, and we’d stay here again. The view from our room was amazing. The rooms were a bit small, though, the shower leaked badly into the room, and the hallways were very noisy.

The location is amazing, but the smell coming from the bathroom drain was horrible, really putrid. We ended up leaving one night early.

The staff at the counter were friendly, and the location was excellent. Our room and bathroom were clean and had been refurbished. There was no kettle or tea and coffee setup in the room.
