There’s a sign for the tourist office, and from there you can climb four flights of stairs for a view over the city. Looking down at the Roman ruins from up there is the best part. It’s always fun to see Roman remains.

After tapas at Tubo Street I was completely worn out and fell asleep sitting on the ruins. The rocks were really hard, but I had a nice nap all the same. I dreamed of horses and blades. Then it was time to "patear" this gorgeous city.

It can be hard to take in that the Romans built things meant to last, and that you can see what people saw centuries ago. I think this is a unique place to visit and enjoy.

This section of the Roman city wall is beside the statue of Caesar Augusta. You can see it from ground level, or climb the six flights of steps above the Tourist information Centre.
