The hotel felt overpriced and left me underwhelmed. The room smelled musty, with stale old smoke, and I could hear the people next door showering and coughing. We chose it because we had a dog and needed somewhere central. The staff were friendly and the place was clean, but it felt very old-fashioned.

I stayed here for a week-long project and was very satisfied. The location was amazing, the room was cleaned daily, and breakfast was good.

The location worked well for getting around, with transport, sights and shops nearby and the market right across the street. We really liked the town. We spent three pleasant nights here, with a warm welcome, spotless rooms, a good bathroom and a small balcony. We had breakfast twice and thought it was pretty good value at €6 each.

The bed was too short for my 1.8m-tall partner, and we could hear noise from the corridor. The bathroom pipes smelled awful, and in our first room the bathroom door wouldn't close, so the bad smell filled the room and there was no privacy. After we complained, they moved us to another room with normal doors, so we could use the bathroom with some dignity and shut away the smell. This old hotel needs renovating. Better to pay a bit more for a more expensive hotel or an Airbnb.
