Apartamentos Isaga

The location is fantastic, about 100 meters from Zarautz beach and the city center. The apartments are all on the ground floor, renovated, and set up well for living, with everything you need to relax. We had a very pleasant stay, and Iñigo took care of every detail and was so attentive. Thanks. Highly recommended. 🙂

The only thing we missed was a freezer in the fridge. It wasn’t essential, but my son takes refrigerated medication, and being able to freeze an ice pack for the trip would have helped. We’ll find another solution, though. The neighborhood is peaceful and residential, and we slept really well. They give you a permit for free street parking. There’s a café right next door with good food for breakfast or snacks and very friendly staff. I’d seen comments about noise from its terrace. Our apartment wasn’t right next to it, and the opening hours shouldn’t disturb bedtime: the café opens at 6:30 am, the terrace opens later, and it closes at midday and 8:30 pm. Everything else was perfect. They explained the door clearly, the apartment was spotless, and the bed was very comfortable. They also provided a spotless crib for my son. The kitchen and bathroom had everything, including shower gel, shampoo, hand soap, a hairdryer, towels for everyone, toilet paper, paper towels, oil, salt, vinegar, and utensils. The washer-dryer was useful too. Our bed was in a separate room with a door, though I’ve read that some apartments don’t have that.

They’re very clean and well equipped, and the location is great for getting to the beach and Zarautz old town. One thing to keep in mind is that these are commercial ground floors converted into apartments. It can be hard to open the windows and have privacy, especially with a café right beside our place. Ventilation wasn’t very good, and drying clothes, particularly beach and bath towels, was difficult.

There were three of us for two nights and we had a wonderful time. The apartment was perfect and spotlessly clean, just 100 meters from the sea. We’ll definitely return, and I highly recommend it. Thanks to Íñigo for being so professional and making us feel at home.
