Beer Garden Inn

I only stopped by the beer garden and brewery for a tasting, and had a good time. The traditional southern German decor makes it feel like a Bavarian or Franconian Disneyland. They serve just two beer styles, light and dark, but if you like carefully made, somewhat more complex beer, I’m sure you’ll enjoy them. The staff are very friendly, helpful, and happy to talk about the brewery. The garden feels peaceful and cozy, though I’d like to see more trees. Beer lovers should visit.

The service left me disappointed. Some customers had their tables dusted and got chair cushions, but neither was offered to me. On a hot day, I also had to wait for my lunch before the waiter would bring my drink, so the juice came afterward. I couldn't understand that choice. There was construction all around, with plenty of noise and dust, and the upstairs verandah was hot. Staff training on equal treatment and good service for every customer would help. I won't be coming back.

We ordered a whole chicken, but after the waiter suggested having it cut up in the kitchen, we found that we hadn't received a whole chicken. When we questioned him, he said parts can sometimes be missing. It felt like they charged us for a whole chicken while serving half. I'd insist on getting the complete portion and avoid having it cut up there.

The tomato pasta was a bit disappointing. It wasn't bad, but it didn't have the rich, deep flavor I expected, especially compared with the other food. The roasted chicken, on the other hand, was juicy, flavorful, and cooked just right. That was the best part of my visit to Beer Garden. Check-in was friendly and easy, too. I'd recommend Beer Garden for the chicken and service, and I'd come back, though I'd choose a different entree next time.
