Tryst Boutique Hotel

The place has a gorgeous rustic, vintage design that is exactly my style, but the service was disappointing and it wasn't worth it. The shower didn't work, and in the morning all the staff were asleep, so we had to wake them ourselves. The night before, we were told there'd be several breakfast options. In the morning, only one or two were available, and they weren't what we expected. The manager later admitted breakfast was supposed to be included, but by then we had no time left. When we asked to speak with the owner, the manager said we could, but “she won’t do anything.” Beautiful place, very poorly managed.

Sarah, the owner of Tryst Boutique, is especially helpful and knows the local area well. She gave us good recommendations for dining and activities. The staff are friendly and accommodating, and the rooms feel cozy, with comfortable beds and the amenities you need. It's a charming rustic retreat, with tasteful antique details and a warm, inviting atmosphere. The small touches stand out too, from fluffy towels to a delicious breakfast each morning. A peaceful place to unwind and recharge, whether you're looking for a romantic getaway or a quiet break.

The communal lounge gives the place a homely feel, and it's a welcome oasis in the city. It's a gem, especially after staying in budget accommodation elsewhere. The rooms are lovely, well furnished, and nicely decorated, and the showers work. Everything was really clean, the food was good, and the staff were amazing and so friendly. I'd absolutely recommend it :)

We were a group of 15 passing through Addis Ababa for an early flight the next morning, and this guesthouse put all of us up comfortably for the night. The rooms were clean and spacious, and the staff were very friendly and accommodating. It's also conveniently close to the airport.
