Yadonay Hotel

The service was very poor, and the prices were expensive. There were two people in the cinnamon, and the elevator didn’t work. My room was in bad shape, with broken things in it. After a few days, the hotel manager inspected the shed, found some broken items, and accused me of breaking them. I was charged the equivalent of $70. I don’t recommend anyone come here.

I’ve stayed at Yadonay Hotel for 23 days last year and another two weeks this December, and it’s been a great experience overall. The location is convenient for nearby stores, and the hotel is generally tidy, though the lobby can be noisy. The rooms are comfortable and well kept, but the bathrooms could use upgrades. The elevator worked most of the time, then had problems during my last two days. Wi-Fi was inconsistent too. The staff made the stay special. At reception, Lidu, Seble, Tsedi, Becky, and the rest of the team were consistently respectful, professional, and helpful. General Manager Mr. Tariku, HR Head Tsiye, and Finance Manager Wubiye also help maintain the hotel’s standards. The security guards always greeted me with a smile and helped with luggage or other needs. Tarik, Hulu Agerish, and SheeBre kept the place clean and tidy. Breakfast was tasty, with varied choices, though there’s room to improve. The restaurant chef is excellent, and Zeneb and Roman made breakfast pleasant with their friendly, respectful service. The gym has good equipment, although some machines need attention. The laundry service was excellent. Despite a few minor issues, the warm atmosphere and strong service make this a wonderful place to stay in Addis Ababa. I’d happily return.

I’ve been here three days so far. It’s a new place, the appliances are in good condition, and the price is reasonable. Breakfast and Wi-Fi are free, and breakfast has been delivered to my room. I haven’t made it to the buffet, so I’m not sure whether they have one. Customer service is great. Steam and sauna cost extra, unless they’re included in your package, and you can also pay as you use them. The only issue is that meals come from an outside contractor, so you might not get what you want, the way you want it, or when you want it. The location is great for tourists who want to see the neighborhood from above.

The elevators don’t work, the smell is awful, and the service is bad. Worst hotel ever. Save your time and don’t come here.
