Yodit Zeleke deserves a special mention. She was kind, attentive and always ready to help with a warm smile. Her local tips and help with requests made a real difference to my stay. The hotel itself has a cozy, peaceful feel, and I felt welcome as soon as I arrived. My room was clean and comfortable, and the staff took care to keep everything in good shape. They clearly want guests to feel relaxed and looked after. I’d recommend it to anyone visiting Addis Ababa. It’s a hidden gem, and I hope to stay again.

It’s close to the airport, affordable, and includes breakfast and a free airport transfer. Complimentary water was available, and the staff were very nice. My room was clean, though quite outdated and with no insulation. I confirmed the arrival transfer twice and still had to call. Breakfast starts at 7 a.m., so I only got boiled eggs to take with me.

The staff were helpful, did their best and apologized, but I can’t recommend this hotel after what happened. The elevator malfunctioned and left me trapped between two floors for an hour and a half, with barely any oxygen coming in. I nearly missed my flight and was left traumatized. If you do have to use the facilities, please be cautious.

I wouldn’t recommend this “hotel” to anyone. The service was awful. They don’t seem willing to accommodate families with kids and will even kick you out for no reason. So arrogant and greedy. Unbelievable!
