Ramada by Wyndham Addis Ababa

I really enjoyed my stay. The food was tasty, with lots of different dishes and flavors, and every person I met smiled. The staff kept checking in, and the rooms were so clean and tidy.

Ramada Addis Hotel made me proud while hosting a meeting I organized for 30 participants from 11 countries. My guests said the rooms were clean and comfortable. All week, the lunch and coffee breaks were excellent, with fresh food and good variety; nobody had complaints. The facilities worked well, the location was convenient, and the staff stayed helpful and professional. We did run into a few small issues with hotel policies, but they were minor next to the service we received. Thanks for hosting us. I look forward to coming back.

The room was spacious and beautiful, and the bathroom had plenty of room and was laid out well. Staff made us feel welcome, and breakfast had enough variety even for picky eaters. Room service runs 24/7 if you need it. After a few disappointing hotel stays, this was just what I needed. I’d happily come back.

The hotel is about five minutes from Bole international airport, with the international and domestic terminals at the same location. Their shuttle serves both, and the vehicle has the hotel logo, which made it easy to identify and felt reassuring. The rooms and bathrooms are spacious, with a proper hand jet shower, and the staff were extremely helpful. There’s Indian vegetarian and non-vegetarian food, along with local and other continental dishes. The hotel has an Indian restaurant, and chef Mr. Rohan is wonderful. He can make Indian dishes to order, and they can pack food even at 5 am for an early flight. The Indian tea still needs some work, but they can brew tea with cooked milk, ginger and masala, and it comes out pretty good. I’d suggest the hotel buy Indian tea so Indian guests can have an authentic cup, and that other staff learn Rohan’s way of making it outside his duty hours. The other amenities are good too. KONARK, a great Indian restaurant with vegetarian and non-vegetarian food, authentic flavors, Indian staff and a superb setting, is just a two to four minute walk across from the hotel.
