Top Ten Hotel

I only ate at the restaurant, and I hated the service. The glasses were dusty and dirty, and the waiter looked annoyed the whole time. I ordered scrambled eggs to take away, but they were full of eggshells. I do not recommend it.

The room door lock kept jamming, the sockets didn't work, and there was no hot shower. When I called the front desk, they said they'd send someone, but nobody ever came. Honestly, I'd rather sleep on an airport couch than stay at this hotel again.

The highway noise went on all night and kept me from sleeping. There was no air conditioning or fan, and the rooms smelled of mothballs. I tried the geyser and left it running for over 15 minutes, but still got no hot water. Someone suggested opening the window, even though this is a malaria zone and the hotel is right beside the highway. I've stayed in better two-star hotels in Ireland and back home. Ethiopian Airlines should reconsider offering this place as an option. It deserves a name like Top Ten Worst Hotel.

By Ethiopian standards, it's a good place, though it depends on what you're expecting.
