A quiet, comfortable spot near the Hawassa lake, with neat, spacious rooms. The meals are tasty, and the service is amazing. The humble, hospitable waitresses make you want to keep coming back.

We had reserved a room the day before arriving, which helped since the hotel was fully booked when we got there. It’s a little far from the city center, but the place is quiet and nice for a good rest. The basin hose had fallen onto the floor, leaving water everywhere. We let the staff know, went out, and found it fixed when we came back. Wi-Fi wasn’t working in our room, and we were told there was an issue on our floor. The complimentary breakfast had very few options and wasn’t tasty.

The rooms are good, especially the ones for couples and families, and the staff are amazing. They respond positively to any request, and the Hotel and service are excellent. It’s by the lake, so it may be far from the city center, and it’s usually booked most days, so book ahead. If you’re a Tibs fan, I suggest trying their special Tibs.
