The cozy little gym and the traditional coffee setup downstairs were standout touches. I stayed a few days and found the staff friendly and the service good. My room was clean and had everything I needed, with no problems. There are restaurants and convenience stores nearby, though the area is all under renovation. The busy commercial streets are about a 15-20 minute walk away. Breakfast was included on my first night but not the later ones. Even so, I thought the price was pretty reasonable and the stay was good value.

I was only there for one night while passing through, since Skylight was full during the African summit. It’s a simple, decent place for a short stop, and the staff were kind and helpful.

At Marcen Hotel in Addis Ababa, I stayed from October 13th to 25th 2025. The rooms were comfortable, clean, and kept in good shape. What I appreciated just as much was how friendly, polite, and attentive the staff were throughout. I’m grateful for the warm welcome and professional care, and would happily recommend Marcen Hotel to anyone coming to Addis Ababa.

I tried several dishes over a few days and enjoyed their taste. The prices were reasonable too, which I really appreciated. I’d suggest guests visit and enjoy the food. Thanks!

I’ve stayed here twice with my children and feel really comfortable at this hotel. The rooms are lovely and clean, the staff are friendly and helpful, and the food is very good. I’ve already told friends and family about it, and I’ll definitely come back the next time I’m in Addis.
