The atmosphere is cozy, the staff are very hospitable, and it’s a great place. The quality for the price is excellent, so I’d really recommend it. The only small downside was that the internet didn’t always work smoothly.

The rooms were clean and had good internet and hot water. It’s a nice place to stay, though the entrance is a little hidden. Just so you know, the booking doesn’t include a shuttle service.

We enjoyed the location, with small neighbourhoods nearby where we spent most of our first days in Addis. The building and facilities were much nicer than we expected from a guesthouse, even though the rooms are fairly basic. We especially liked the large indoor dining area and the outdoor courtyard. We hadn’t expected a free breakfast in the morning, and it was exceptional. Each day we tried something different from the menu. I know some other reviews mention disappointment, but our stay was superb. Everyone was kind and generous, from the manager and reception to every server and cleaning staff member. Thank you all.

The bathroom light and water heater weren’t working. They spent an hour trying to fix them while we were in the property, which took away our privacy. They offered us another room, but it had fewer facilities than ours. Even after all that time, nothing was fixed, and they said they might get it working tomorrow. There was no refrigerator or boiler in the room, not even a spoon, plate, or cup. There’s no hotline phone, so asking for anything meant walking down two floors of stairs. At first I went down to ask someone to come check the things that weren’t working, but nobody came. I went down again later. To be fair, the staff were generally nice, especially the girl at reception. But the organization, maintenance, and administration are disastrous.
