I’ve known Wutema for over 20 years, and it has kept up a good standard. The building is old but maintained well, the atmosphere is interesting, and the food is still delicious, with local and European options. It’s one of my favorite places for pizza. The main issue on my visit was the barman. He came across as rude and didn’t seem to know the drinks, which made the service feel unprofessional. I hope they address that so the place keeps its good reputation.

I’ve been coming here for years, and the food and service are excellent when I visit as a customer. I have a lot of special memories here, but I can’t stay as a guest anymore. The bar plays loud music late into the night, then staff start cleaning and moving things around early, even at 6am on Sunday. Earplugs only got me through three nights before I moved somewhere quiet. Waking up to silence felt like heaven.

The service is great, though the place can get crowded. It’s a nice spot to unwind with friends or family, and the bathroom is clean and comfortable. Prices are a little high, but still reasonable. They offer special tasting dishes, and the fasting buffet is very good, though it’s only available during fasting. Try the traditional Ethiopian drink TELA (TELA).
