Grand Guest House

One of the most hospitable guest houses in the city, and one of the best.

I had a confirmed reservation four months ahead for an 11-night stay. After only four nights, though, they told me a tour group was coming and wanted the whole guesthouse, including my room. The owner came to see me and offered to move me to a very poor room that had been prepared in a hurry. I didn't consider it and went to a hotel instead. I won't return to Grand Guest House. Just chaos and greed.

The room was awful, with broken furniture and cockroaches. We couldn't get a second towel from reception even though it was a double room, and the one they eventually gave us was damp. I would NEVER go back.
