Diamond Hotel

I liked how calm the café inside the Diamond Hotel feels. It's a nice place to read, catch up with a friend, or just spend a little time on your own. Books are set around the room, with both children's stories and adult reads, so there's something for different kinds of readers. The Ethiopian drawings on the walls give the place its own character and a warm cultural feel. It feels like the art tells a story, rather than just filling the walls. The food was great too. I recommend the Zilzil Tibs and steak sandwich, both flavorful and a good size, served with care. The macchiato was rich and smooth, among the better ones I've had in town. On a chilly day, their special tea is aromatic and warming. A peaceful café with good food and drinks.

The restaurant has a pleasant atmosphere and midtown views, and it's convenient and highscale. The coffee spot is handy for a quick snack, with fresh, tasty cakes and drinks. My room was clean, and the receptionists and managers were courteous, responsive, and professional. The location was ideal, and I had an amazing stay. Thank you, I'll be back!

Way overrated. It doesn't deserve four stars.

The breakfast was good, though I wasn't keen on many of the fruits because they were so watery you could barely taste them. The rest of the food was great, and room service arrived quickly. Staff were welcoming and friendly, and when I called reception with an issue, they helped me without fail. The Standard Room was more than decent in size, clean, and nicely finished. I stayed in two different rooms and noticed they didn't all look alike. The rooms felt worth the money, and security was good. Diamond Hotel is close to the airport and within walking distance of restaurants, coffee shops, bars, and tourist attractions. The area is well lit, so I felt comfortable walking at night. I definitely enjoyed my stay in Addis and would recommend it.
