The views were hard to beat, and after our Omo Valley Tour, this was a great place to finish a fascinating but tiring journey. We stayed three nights and loved it. The wellness area has a sauna and steam bath guests can use for free, and the massages we booked were great too. The restaurant offers lots of Western and Ethiopian dishes, plus wines, which is unusual in Ethiopia. Communication was difficult because hardly anyone, even at reception, spoke English. The rooms can get quite hot, so fans would help.

The hotel bar had a great atmosphere and music, then I had a wonderful dinner at the restaurant. My room was cozy, with a lovely view and all the amenities I needed. From check-in on, I felt at home, and every staff member I met was smiling and helpful. It’s rare for every department to do such a good job. I’ll definitely return.

We had a pleasant stay in a scenic spot with a nice view. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. There were a few insects, but that’s understandable given the mountain setting. The food was okay, and the staff were nice, especially Abebe and Bimr, who were helpful.

The room quality was nowhere near what we expected for the price. What we saw on social media didn’t match the reality, and the food was bad, both the free breakfast and the regular menu. At reception, the staff didn’t even let us share feedback about our stay. My experience at Paradise Lodge was disappointing, and I wouldn’t recommend it. It didn’t feel like the “paradise” they advertise.

The location was perfect and the view was nice, but there were theft issues from our room. Keep a close eye on your belongings, especially if you ask for room service.
