Central Hawassa hotel

Staff tried to force my door open without my permission, and I felt unsafe there. Guests’ privacy and safety weren’t respected. That behavior is unacceptable, and I wouldn’t stay at this hotel again.

I couldn’t use the shower properly because the diverter didn’t work, and the toilet spray kept running and splashing water onto my clothes. There were roaches throughout the room and hallways too, which made the place feel dirty and uncomfortable. I told staff about the problems every day, but nothing was really done. No follow-up or urgency, and no one fixed them while I was there. Between the pests, faulty facilities, and unresponsive service, the stay was extremely frustrating. I can’t recommend the hotel, and I hope management takes these complaints seriously and improves things for future guests.

We’d booked ahead and had a contract to stay at the Hotel, but when we arrived they moved us to a motel or pension, believing that was where we were staying. They still planned to charge us the Central Hotel price, which is ridiculous. They also didn’t provide shuttle service. The service was a disappointment, and this was the most unprofessional, disorganized Hotel I’ve ever been in.

There wasn’t enough cleanliness, and the shower didn’t work well. The hot water especially wasn’t working.
