The restaurant was a bit frustrating for us. Several menu items weren’t available, and after we chose something, staff told us they didn’t have it. We picked again and ran into the same problem, so it’s best to check with the service staff before ordering. The rooms are spacious, with generous, funky bathrooms, though they’re quite dark. The design felt more suited to a mountain resort. It’s a peaceful spot right by the lake, with lovely views and a big pool. There were also quite a few mosquitoes, though that’s obviously not the hotel’s fault. The food we did get was decent. It’s a nice place to stay in Bahir Dar, with a couple of things that could be improved. Thanks for having us!

What stood out most was the staff: Eyerusalem, Mahider at the front desk, and Eymiyos serving in the restaurant were welcoming, composed, and impressively good at solving problems. I rarely see that level of professionalism at hotels. Big applause to them. I arrived in October without realizing the area’s political instability, but the team’s welcome made that less concerning during my stay. My room was immaculate, with the feel of a Caribbean beach resort. Each night, the team came to light the fireplace on my balcony, which was lovely as it got cold. Breakfast was included, à la carte, and amazing, and I also received a complimentary massage. There’s an ATM on site and plenty to do nearby. I can’t say enough good things about this place, it deserves a 10 out of 5. You’ll love it.

We had a spacious, comfortable room by the pool, and the lake views from the poolside were beautiful. The pool itself was refreshing, and the restaurant food was delicious. The staff there kept making us feel welcome. Right after we arrived, they brought fresh juice and a hot towel so we could freshen up, then showed us to our room. Service was amazing from the start, and the hotel is conveniently located in the heart of the city. I’d highly recommend staying here!
