Bahur Dar Kacaranda Hotel is basic and small, but the service was nice and friendly. We stayed four nights.

From my room facing the main street, I had a breathtaking view of Lake Tana. The hotel is right in the heart of Bahir Dar, so it's easy to get to key attractions, and the shuttle to and from the airport was convenient. The rooms were comfortable, well maintained, and reasonably priced. It was a remarkable experience.

The staff were what really stood out for me. They were professional, friendly, and attentive throughout, from an efficient check in to quick help with any request or question. I felt valued and well looked after. The rooms were comfortable, the dining options were delectable, and the location was convenient. My stay at Jacaranda Hotel exceeded expectations. I'd highly recommend it for a visit to Bahir Dar, whether for business or leisure.

The food was good, the rooms facing Lake Tana had a nice view, and the staff were very friendly. I appreciated their hospitality. Still, the hotel lacks maintenance and many things need attention. The toilet mirrors might fall easily, so take precautions.
