It did meet our needs, especially with the point price cut in half. Inside was clean and had what we needed, though it felt cramped with six people. A group of 2+2 would fit better since the loft is low for adults. These are basic semi-detached houses in a somewhat run-down setting, and the parking lot vibration on weekdays added to the atmosphere. The beach is about 2 m wide!!!! Better to drive to the campsite, or walk along the rough ski slopes. The cabin terrace had a sled and snow shovel (1.6), but no outdoor grill.

The animal park is close by, and there are good ski trails. Ähtäri Mesikämmen was a warm, clean cottage in a lovely natural setting 👍

The location is great for getting to services, and the accommodation works well. There is a bit too much wear and tear, though, and maintenance could get around to repairs faster.

The cottage was great, and the location was nice and quiet. There are enough trees that the neighbors can't peek in.

There are lots of different activities close by, while the cottage surroundings stay wonderfully peaceful.
