Guests have to enter through the garage, and the hostel is badly maintained. The website lists utensils, but they’re never there. The elevator is out of order, so people have to climb six or seven floors. The seventh-floor door is locked on one side, which means going through the sixth floor to reach it. Instead of repairing things, they come up with cheap, impractical fixes. The toilets aren’t hygienic for women, and the kitchen is in very bad shape too. I understand guests share responsibility for keeping things clean, but I still wouldn’t recommend it. The positive reviews may be from the refugee centre underneath the hostel, which had the reception floor and four room floors.

The rooms and bedding were clean enough, but the beds looked like hospital beds from World War II, like the ones in movies. Many “residents” apparently stay for months or even years. I spoke with some in the communal kitchen, and the place felt abandoned and poorly maintained. This isn’t suitable for tourists. Better to pay more and stay somewhere else. 😫

Absolutely horrible. The rooms are dirty, and the kitchens are a disaster!

The walls are so thin you can hear the neighbours. The kitchen is messy and unclean, and the bathrooms sometimes have no water. The toilets can be dirty too. I guess it’s luck of the draw, some people get a clean one, others get a dirty one. As others have said, it’s an asylum hostel.
