There was plenty to do all day, and the whole family could enjoy the beach, shared sauna, sun loungers, barbecue area, paddle boats, and kayaks. The animals in the yard were sweet, and the goats liked being scratched. We came with a baby and dog, and everything went smoothly. The sea-view beach cottage worked well for our larger group, was easy to drive to, and had everything we needed. A full 10 for the experience.

The apartment was clean, neat, and quiet, and everything worked. The hosts were friendly and helpful, and it was easy to get everywhere. The children and we especially loved the chickens and the other yard animals. There was lots to do, including a lovely beach sauna and water toys. A wonderful place for its setting and location.

When you’re on Degerö Island, this is a great place to stop for a few hours. There are cozy little cottages, a small café, lots of farm animals, and horse riding. The staff are really friendly too.

You can spend a few hours here meeting the animals and having coffee in the cozy little café, or rent one of the village cottages. It’s a magical place for a relaxing getaway, and a lovely way to show children real village life, something so hard to find on the mainland. We’ll definitely come back, and highly recommend it if you’re passing through!
