Villa Wolax

I didn’t stay overnight at Villa Wolax, so I can’t comment on the rooms. I went to Sauna Friday, though, and can’t recommend it highly enough. The scenery was magnificent, the sauna exactly what you’d hope for, and the whole experience went beyond what I expected. It felt authentic and honored Finnish culture. The service was on another level from the moment we arrived, with a genuine smile and a warm welcome. We explained that we were 2 people instead of 3 because one person was sick. They went out of their way to offer a couple of options so it didn’t feel like the money had gone to waste, even though the absence wasn’t their fault. The food was excellent and catered to our celiac friend too. In the sauna, we were looked after better than we’d expected. I’ll definitely visit Villa Wolax again.

Everything looked great, and the staff were really nice and polite. The food, activities, and lodging were all great. I was given the stay for free by a tvird party organizer. We stayed one night and had one breakfast, two lunches, a dinner, and three snacks, plus unlimited cold drinks, sauna, and jacuzzi, all free to us. The only downside was the winter blankets in the rooms. Our stay was at the end of June, in 30°C weather, and the night got pretty sweaty.

We stayed in our boat, so I can’t review the rooms. The food and service were excellent, both at the restaurant and at the beach waffle kiosk.

This has become my new favorite getaway near Helsinki. The restaurant food was delicious, and that was the best carpaccio I’ve had. Service and staff were amazing, and the accommodations were cozy, with A/C too. The sauna and jacuzzi by the beach were excellent. At night they even had a painist and a bar on the beach. Such a laid-back summer hideaway, highly recommend it! 👌
