Villa Harald

The island and setting are lovely, and the place works quite well for a larger group. Inside was clean, but the terraces and pier needed cleaning. There wasn’t enough water for the showers. The kitchen was packed with dishes and other things, so finding the tools we needed was difficult, with every cupboard and drawer full.

The pier was still dirty with seagull mess, and the terrace surfaces and tables were in poor shape. There was also too much unnecessary stuff inside, most of it in the way. Washing was a problem too, since hardly any water came out of the taps. The grounds and building look great in the photos, but time and lack of maintenance have taken their toll.

There’s a lovely sea view and beautiful nature around the large villa, which has room for more than ten people. The well water isn’t drinkable, and you have to bring sauna wood with you. At this fairly expensive price, I’d expect a reasonable amount of wood to be included.

A lovely cottage in a great setting, though it’s very big.
