Northern Lights Ranch

The staff, especially at reception, were so sweet, and the place gets the balance between wilderness and luxury just right. Our room was beautiful, and the jacuzzi, reindeer, sauna and walking track were all 10/10. We’re so sad to leave. We’ll be back next year for sure.

We stayed two nights and got to see the lights. The food and service were great, and I really recommend the three-course dinner. We had loads of fun trying all the included activities, and the hot tub was already warm when we arrived. Definitely an experience worth having.

The cabin was cozy even with the rain tapping on the amazing glass roof, though we weren't lucky with the weather. I loved the heated floors, and the bed was super comfortable. There’s a microwave in the little kitchen area too. Since you can drink the tap water, a carafe would be a useful addition. A special thank you to the long-haired blonde woman at reception. She welcomed us so warmly and lit the outdoor fire so we could roast marshmallows. The heart-shaped little ice rink is another lovely detail, and I’d love to see it frozen. The reindeer weren't at the hotel in September because they were still roaming around. We would've happily stayed until the snow came.

We were lucky enough to see the Northern Lights right over our cabin. Sitting in the hot tub surrounded by all that snow, and maybe seeing the lights too, is incredible, so I definitely recommend the whirlpool upgrade if your budget allows. The cabin felt like a lovely mix of a modern little house and somewhere cozy, and everything was very clean. Staff were super friendly, and the food was great. One of the coziest, best experiences we've had.
