The café and reception sit centrally, and both are easy to reach on foot. The staff were friendly. Our cabin was roomy, comfortable, and had everything we needed, in a peaceful resort area. Salamajärvi National Park is nearby, about a 20 km drive, with 9 km of paved road and 11 km of well-kept dirt road. We spent a long weekend enjoying the outdoors and relaxing. A lovely place to stay.

It was peaceful and quiet, just right for resting, relaxing, or having fun. The cottage had a full kitchen, a fireplace with plenty of firewood, and its own sauna. It was well equipped, with nothing missing.

Holiday Club Village is lovely and family-friendly. The cottages come in several sizes, and you can rent one if there's a vacancy and you don't have a week of your own.

There are two small grocery stores, but the place is pretty much in the middle of nowhere. It was, as a British guest put it, “deadly quiet.” Reception isn't open every weekday.
