The Ykspihlaja hostel has cozy, atmospheric rooms and common areas, and pets are welcome, which is a big plus. The renovated port office building has a new life as a great place for travelers to stay. Breakfast was delicious, with everything needed to satisfy your hunger, and the coffee gets five stars. The parking lot can fit a larger vehicle without any trouble. The place has real character and atmosphere.

The room was cozy, and the bed was comfortable for sleeping. Breakfast was a bit meager, and I missed having something sweet. It’s a nice guesthouse, though the location is rather rugged, and I had a nice experience overall.

The house has lovely details, and sleeping behind those solid log walls was a pleasure. The service was friendly and great, and breakfast was adequate. The parking lot is quite small.
