The cottages and the surroundings are really lovely, and it’s quiet enough to properly unwind. There are all the services you need nearby. The place has a very early-80s feel, and in the evening the reception turns into a nostalgic vintage bar. The welcome was a different story: the man at reception was asleep, didn’t say a word or show any expression, and spoke neither Finnish nor English. If you’re into a thrashy 80s adventure, this place is for you. We liked it a lot.

The cabin was roomy, with a pretty large sauna, and worked well for a family weekend or even a whole week away. It sits right by the lake, which is lovely. The main building looked quite dated, as did some of the cabin furniture.

The cottage is spacious and the staff are friendly. There was quite a bit of dust in the rooms, though, so I wouldn’t recommend it for people with allergies. It was also missing some basics, including toilet paper and soap.

We stayed in the beach mökki unit, which had two rooms and a loft and was nicely equipped inside. The beds weren’t very comfortable.

Out in the countryside, this is a really nice cottage with a sauna. Having bikes and boats available for free was a great bonus.
