We liked the sauna, though we had to get instructions through WhatsApp because we couldn't work it out ourselves. The cottage was clean and comfortable, with everything needed for cooking. Lake access is close by through the forest, and within 1 km there are plenty of things to do, including the Angry Birds activity park, the hotel's water park, a rope course and golf. Plenty for a two-weekend stay. One thing to be aware of: the sleeping arrangements weren't clear in the description. We expected two bedrooms of the same size, but there was one with a double bed, another with two single beds pushed together, and a fold-out sofa in the lounge. For six guests, there's one very large bathroom with a jacuzzi and toilet, plus a second toilet and a shower downstairs by the sauna.

Really rude treatment. We'd booked an apartment for a summer weekend and thought everything was set, but the next day they called to cancel because we're from the same place. They said people from there had reportedly broken something before, and told us on the phone there was no point rebooking because they would cancel everyone's reservation from our area.

For a two-night stay, they asked us for a €1,500 deposit. We booked through booking.com, so I don't think they had the right to ask for that. Our credit card payment wasn't accepted, nobody answered the phone, and then the reservation was canceled. When I eventually reached customer service, there was a minute of silence before they put the receiver to my ear. I've traveled across continents and never had this much trouble with an overnight stay. I can't recommend it to anyone.
