Budget Hotel Easystay

The rooms were neat enough, though nothing special, and our view over the houses and parks was fine. Beds were more comfortable than I've had at plenty of budget hotels, and the shower was nice. We also liked the typical Finnish breakfast, especially the warm bread, which felt like a treat. Service was excellent, too. Someone even helped me get a chocolate stain off our car seat. There are two saunas, a traditional one and an infrared one, and you just press a button to heat them yourself. I was unsure what to expect at first, but this relaxed hotel about 3 km from old Porvoo surprised me in a good way. There are playgrounds nearby. A good choice if you want somewhere quiet.

The hotel is a fair walk from Porvoo, though the town and scenery make the walk enjoyable. I was also confused at check-in because the door was shut when I arrived, but someone opened it for me a few minutes later. Inside, the room was clean, fairly spacious, and had free instant coffee and tea with a kettle. WiFi worked without trouble, the staff were friendly and helpful, and breakfast was wonderful. There’s also a sauna and a shared room with a microwave, kettle, and fridge, all free to use.

We came as a group of 30, and everyone was happy with their room and the rest of the stay. The beds were really comfortable, the rooms clean, breakfast delicious, and the service kind and friendly. A very nice place to stay, and I'd recommend it.

The room was spacious, the bed comfortable, and the breakfast they brought to the room was nice. The hotel may once have been a rest home for older people, but it was spotless and about a 15-minute walk from Porvoo old town. I wouldn't pick it for a romantic getaway, but it's excellent value if you just need a quiet place to sleep for a night or two.
