The terrace made a lovely place for an afternoon coffee today. And the butter bun might be the best I’ve ever had: freshly baked, soft and moist, with just the right amount of cardamom and not too sweet. Peace, love and butter buns ☮️💟😋

I could happily spend hours exploring the large, beautiful garden, with its signposts to guide you around. Inside, the rooms, shared bathrooms and especially the kitchen and living room are decorated so beautifully, and everything looked neat and clean. The owner was friendly and, from what I saw, very good at his job. The lovely shared space serves as check-in, a café, a shop for local organic goods and a breakfast room. Breakfast was good and generous, and it wasn’t crowded. There’s plenty to buy too, including spelt cake and flour, raw chocolate, honey, pies and specialty sodas. The prices felt very fair for what you get.

We both slept well in the quiet, fresh room, even my husband, who usually sleeps badly. The host was friendly, and breakfast was delicious and generous. The whole place is incredibly beautiful and well cared for, inside and out, like a little paradise. We recommend it.
