Aurora Collection Saariselkä

We had a lovely "babymoon" with my wife just before our first child is born, and the stay could not have gone better. The cottage was clean, with beautiful wooden "kelohonka" walls mixed with modern touches. It had large windows, a sauna, and a jacuzzi. The kitchen had everything we needed, and the master bed was very comfortable. We especially enjoyed the undisturbed valley view and were lucky to see the Northern Lights from the cottage. Staff kindly alerted us beforehand and again when the show began, which made it even more special. Aurora Collection is among the best resorts we’ve visited, and I can absolutely recommend it to anyone coming to Lapland. Thanks to the amazing team at ACR. 5/5, we’d gladly stay again.

The owner of the resort himself came to pick us up after we booked an airport transfer. That really showed how much he cares about his guests’ comfort. The staff were all so helpful and friendly, and spending time here made us feel like movie stars. We enjoyed both the open-air warm tub and the indoor sauna. The best of the best. What stays with us most is how every person made us feel welcome, respected, and genuinely cared for throughout the trip. Hanne, thank you for your warmth, kindness, and heart. You made us feel at home from the first second. Janne leads with calm professionalism and real care, and it shows around the resort. Tomas, your energy and enthusiasm are contagious, and you’re already so dedicated. Hedi was funny and always ready to make us smile. Lari kept everything running smoothly and even helped with transfers, truly invaluable. Oona, our blonde powerhouse, drove big cars with such elegance and confidence, as if it were the easiest thing in the world. Rianna was young, cool, and always kind, with a lovely presence. And Elmeri, our Aurora Hunt guide, was passionate, knowledgeable, and unforgettable. Thanks to you, we had moments we’ll never forget. The place itself feels magical, with nature, comfort, and human warmth all coming together. This is more than a resort, it’s a feeling, a memory, and a piece of your heart that stays in Lapland.
