Rooms were very clean and comfortable, and there's plenty to do together, from table tennis and badminton to board games. Outside, there's a small beach and several BBQ spots, plus a nearby farm; in winter, you can use the skating rink. It's a quiet, cozy place for a laid-back holiday, about 20-30 minutes from the city. Bring your own food.

The bedding was such a pleasure against the skin that we're thinking of getting the same sheets and pillows for home. This owner-run Finnish lakeside retreat has all the amenities you'd expect, and not having TVs in the rooms adds to the escape from city bustle.

We had a spacious, comfortable four-bed room, and the house was spotless, with everything needed for an easy stay. Anita at reception was charming, friendly, knowledgeable, and speaks Russian. The setting, with forest around the house and a lake nearby, makes it a lovely place to unwind. There are books and plenty of board games in the shared room, plus ping-pong. The kitchen is well equipped, and there's a barbecue. Sauna, skates, skis, and Nordic walking poles are available too, all for great value. Huge thanks to the staff. We highly recommend it and will be back, especially in summer!

The reasonable prices were a pleasant surprise, and Lappeenranta is an easy half-hour drive away at the local 60 km/h limit. I really enjoyed staying here. Everything feels peaceful, with only nature sounds around, and the scenery is breathtaking. The hotel is lovely, and the rooms are cozy and have what you need for a relaxing stay, including a bed, shower, and private toilet. The kettle, coffee maker, and refrigerator are in the dining room, which was no problem for me.
