The staff’s smiles and hospitality ended up outweighing my first thought on arrival that the hotel could use a cosmetic renovation. They were lovely, and the location is great, especially for a concert at the nearby venue. A great place to stay.

Homeland isn’t brand new, but the dedicated owners and staff make the stay feel special. A little hotel with lots of charm, and great value for the price.

A mixed bag, but for the price it wasn’t bad. Breakfast was good, and I appreciated that they tried to offer something for vegetarians, even if the vege balls were a bit weird. There’s a nice outdoor area and a bright reception. The building is an old housing block converted into rooms. Our apartment room was faded, a little dark, and dated. The fridge was really loud at night, some blinds were broken, and the TV was ancient with a remote that worked poorly. Drains smelled really bad outside, so we couldn’t leave the windows open.

I wouldn’t book it again. We stayed one night and it was terrible. This didn’t feel like a hotel, and I’m not sure why it has 3 stars. The rooms and bathrooms were old and dirty, there was no heating or proper air conditioner, and the fridge was noisy. For this price, you can book decent b&bs.

Definitely a b&b, not a hotel. There was no air-conditioning, the bathroom was tiny, and the usual amenities were missing apart from a hair dryer. Breakfast was lackluster, especially if you have dietary needs, and there was no staff in sight.
