Hot, stuffy room, fussy rules, and interior design I didn't like, all in a place that felt like living in a mall. If that sounds appealing, this is for you. I'm about ready to sleep in my car instead.

The room was comfortable and had the basics, and the central location and flexible check-in and check-out were handy. But there was an unpleasant smell in the room and throughout the corridor. You could hear noise through the walls, and the cleaning needs more care: I found a stain in the bathroom and on the bed.

The room was awful, even though the location is great. There was tissue paper on the floor and lots of unidentified fur on the towels. The air conditioner was extremely loud, and sound carried badly through the walls.

The door code wouldn't work, and customer service was no help. She knew our phone had no battery and still hung up on us. We were locked out for hours in the middle of the night, unable to get into a room we'd already paid for. Worst experience ever. I want my money back and compensation.

The room was clean, and check-in with the door code went smoothly. The Turku Forenom was like another world compared with the Forenom in Helsinki Vantaa. It's modern and recently renovated, so everything looked new. The location is right in the middle of Turku, close to everything you need.
