Rooms were clean, spacious enough and bright, though the in-room infotainment options weren’t great. Breakfast had a good range of breads and other choices. The hotel is easy to get to, but parking is awkward unless you use the hotel’s own lot. Most staff were friendly, though there were a few unhappy faces, which may have been a one-time thing with one staff member. It doesn’t feel especially kid friendly, since children are expected to be quiet in public areas, but they do give kids mocktail tickets at check-in. The rooftop bar is a nice facility, even though there isn’t much indoor seating.

Breakfast is part of the price, with a wide choice of bread, fruit, vegetables, hot food and coffee. There’s something for everyone, though at busy times it may be hard to find a seat. Staff were friendly. The hotel is in a great spot, and our room was clean and comfortable. The bed and pillows were massive. Shampoo and conditioner were provided, but the shampoo dried out our hair.

We stayed as a family of three, and this is the best Scandic I’ve stayed at so far, even though I’ve been to MANY. Loved everything: the interior, the details in the room, breakfast, service and location. The gym is well equipped, though the yoga mat could use a refresh. Highly recommend!

I really liked the Scandic-style room design, and the bathroom was especially spacious. The rooftop bar had a lovely view, and I enjoyed the prosecco. The parking lot right below the hotel seemed limited. When we got back from an excursion at about 5 p.m., my hubby managed to get the last spot, which was actually meant for an electric car. We have an electric car.

We were in room #317 and had a great view of the square. The rooms are modern and comfortable, and the breakfast buffet is fabulous. It can get busy on weekends and when the hotel is full, but eating early makes it easy to miss the rush. Great location.
