Blue Lagoon Beach Resort

The hill walk behind the resort was a highlight for me. I was glad I had hiking poles, especially with the wet season downpours, though most of the rain came overnight. We also took the Sawa-i-Lau Caves trip, which was worth doing and best timed for low tide. Our yurt was comfortable, and its air conditioning was unusually quiet. The staff were helpful and friendly. Wi-Fi was decent by Fiji standards and worked in both the rooms and common areas. The resort arranged a boat transfer that went from Nadi to Paradise Cove, where we changed boats for Blue Lagoon. We spent five nights here in February 2026. Snorkelling was excellent, both at the reef by the resort and on boat trips, with lots of fish and colourful coral. The two restaurants served generous portions of good-quality food. Their menus change every two days, so switching between them each night gives you something different. Breakfast is at 7am, lunch at 12.30pm, and dinner at 6.30pm. A lovely place to stay.

The kids club kept our children busy and gave them some lovely memories, while we enjoyed spa treatments and the calm island atmosphere. My husband tried diving and is now hooked. We came hoping for a great holiday and left with memories we'll treasure. We can't wait to come back. The setting is gorgeous, with clear turquoise water in every direction, fish swimming right up to shore, and superb gardens full of tropical colour. From the moment we arrived, the peaceful pace helped us switch off and spend time together. The people made the stay especially memorable. Mel was full of warmth and energy, and Nick and Wame kept everything running smoothly. Kylie and Chris made us feel welcome right away and went out of their way to help. Nothing seemed like too much trouble. Blue Lagoon Beach Resort is a place that stays with you long after you get home.

The food had a lot of variety and was really good, and we loved the villas, especially the outdoor shower. The staff were genuinely kind and welcoming. We'd recommend the village tour, the Sawa-i-Lau caves, and a snorkel trip. You can also snorkel straight from the beach in warm, clear, bright blue water. We stayed at Blue Lagoon in February and had a great time. We weren't sure what to expect from Fiji's wet season, but only had two short showers, one overnight and one during the day. The resort staff said the Yasawa islands tend to be less affected that time of year. Since it was low season, the resort was calm and quiet, which we appreciated. We absolutely loved our stay and would happily recommend Blue Lagoon.

The natural beauty and almost majestic feel of this place are hard to put into words. Vinaka Blue Lagoon! We'll be back as soon as we can. Love from San Francisco, Sophie and Kiyoshi. They were incredibly kind and friendly, and the service was second to none.
