We enjoyed our 10 days at the Warwick Fiji, though the resort didn’t feel like a 5-star stay. The grounds are beautiful and well looked after, and it’s close to Sigatoka. The Jet Boat River Safari is a must-do. For dining, the Japanese restaurant was the clear highlight. Isaia there was a great cook and a real character. We had problems with our first room, which was unclean and had no hot water. Hot water issues came up in multiple rooms. The activities schedule was also unreliable, with many events cancelled. Food and drinks cost a lot for the quality, and some of our belongings, including shoes, went missing, so keep an eye on your things. We recommend the Suva Wing for couples, since it’s quieter and close to the adult pool. When an activity was cancelled, Alipate from Guest Activities made us a Kava Bowl to take home.

The people are lovely and always do their best, though they openly say things are bad and need support. The grounds are still good, but the rooms are dated and need maintenance. Food was very poor and the prices are crazy. We paid 46 for a horrible pizza and I’d never seen 60 for a lasagne. The classic hamburger used to be really good, but this time it was dry, with no sauce and an awful dry bun, and cost 46. I’ve been here three times over 15 years. It used to be a 5-star place with excellent food, and from what I see in recent reviews and this visit, it’s going backwards fast. Give it a miss and book elsewhere.

What made the Warwick Fiji feel so warm and real was how at home we felt with the people. We remember the conversations, laughs and stories about their lives and experiences most of all. Atonina at the restaurant was especially kind and warm, always smiling. Sitting there felt like being at home. Thanks as well to the housekeeping team, who were always smiling and welcoming, the activities team, including the crab races, and the maintenance team. The place itself is beautiful and peaceful, a real escape. The buffet was the one letdown: it felt standard and repetitive, and we expected more variety and local, exotic flavours in Fiji. That’s why we gave 4 stars instead of 5. Special thanks to Josevata and Joji from the karaoke bar, Tieri from the Suva Bar, Apel from the souvenir store and Alumeci from sports activities. Each added something special to our days and made the trip memorable, far beyond what we expected. Vinaka vakalevu ❤️

The views along the Coral Coast are unreal, and photos really don’t capture how peaceful and beautiful it is. The resort is about a two-hour drive from Nadi, but we found it absolutely worth it: quieter, more relaxing and more authentic than staying near town. Our room was spotless and comfortable, with air conditioning so strong we got cold. We had no pest or maintenance issues. The food was fresh, flavourful and plentiful across the board, and the drinks were great too. Prices are resort prices, as is standard anywhere in Fiji. Every staff member we met was warm, attentive and accommodating. Calling them lazy is wildly inaccurate and disrespectful. They work hard and show genuine kindness. Fiji runs on island time, not entitlement time, so if you expect rushed, robotic service, this isn’t the place. There were plenty of pool chairs. The resort has a clear, reasonable rule that unattended chairs are cleared after 30 minutes so everyone gets a fair go. Expecting to hold chairs all day with a towel and disappear is peak holiday entitlement. Many hospitality workers in Fiji earn around $3 an hour. People should be grateful for their care and effort, not nitpick trivial things. Cleanliness wasn’t an issue for us at all. And if you come to Fiji with respect, patience and an open mind, The Warwick will give you an unforgettable stay. If you expect everything to cater to you without effort or understanding, you probably shouldn’t be reviewing resorts. We’d return in a heartbeat. Vinaka vakalevu to the incredible Warwick team 🤍🌴

The kids especially loved jumping off the jetty with local kids and snorkeling. With three children, we also got to enjoy kids club and activities like fish feeding, pool games and touch footy. The staff were wonderfully kind, and we couldn’t fault our stay. The adults pool was amazing, the food was great at all the restaurants, and the buffet breakfast had a good selection for both kids and adults. We just got back from the Warwick after having the best time, and can’t wait to return!
