The staff and management were the best part of staying at Nabua Lodge. They were attentive, genuinely warm, and made me feel welcome the whole time. The rooms could use maintenance and feel a little dated, though that didn't take much away from an otherwise pleasant stay. A few updates would make the place even more inviting.

The huts at Nubua lodge were huge and really clean, and without roosters around we slept well. We’d spent a week at another lodge first and it was nice, but these huts were our favorite. Captain Si and his team looked after us so well. There’s a lovely beach and good food too. You can try other home stays, but this is a great spot to slow down for a few days. Enjoy! Mr. Canada

We loved the laid-back feel at Nabua Lodge, especially being able to get to the coral reef and the hiking track over the mountains. There’s also a really cute tea and cake house about 50 meters down the beach. This is part of the local village, not a polished western-style resort that could be anywhere. The staff were friendly, welcoming, down to earth, and super accommodating.

We spent the week relaxing in hammocks and switching off, just taking things on island time. The lodge is rustic and beautiful, and in the Yasawa Islands it feels like you’re part of local life, away from the big-resort tourist scene. Don’t come expecting five-star comforts, but the beaches are beautiful, the food is delicious, the staff are friendly, and the snorkeling is fantastic.

The beach here is beautiful when the weather’s good, and the location has that going for it. But I don’t understand all the positive reviews. Our rooms were dirty and infested with cockroaches, the bathroom smelled like urine, and the staff were unfriendly. The place felt very dated, like maybe it was nice ten years ago. The food was hit or miss, and after this experience we moved to another hotel.
