Ramada Suites by Wyndham Wailoaloa Beach Fiji

The views and beachfront setting at Wailoaloa Beach were the highlights for me, especially at sunset. Many rooms and shared areas look out over the ocean, and it has that Fiji feel. The hotel is about 15 minutes from the airport and works as a base for Nadi or trips to Port Denarau. Our room needed some care. There were ants, which may be common in the tropics, but it was still disappointing. The bathroom also felt old, with grout problems, small leaks, and general wear. Parking was frustrating too, with few spaces and little availability in the evening as more guests arrived. The staff were friendly enough, and the location is a real plus. It was fine for a short visit when the view is the priority, but the property could use some updating so the basics live up to the setting.

The staff were mostly friendly and kind, but we still had four sleepless nights. For the first two nights, noise came through because the windows had no glass. We asked to move, and the hotel messaged us on WhatsApp to say we were being upgraded. That room wasn't what we'd booked, since we needed two rooms, so they moved us again to a two-room suite facing the beach. The view was great and it was quiet there, but the air conditioner sounded like a truck, so we had to switch it off. There were ants in the room. The shower was nearly out of bathroom supplies, and the shower head control was missing. At lunch by the swimming area, a waitress rolled her eyes when we ordered food without drinks. We were two girls who don't drink alcohol, and that felt really rude.

I checked out today and would gladly come back. The rooms were very clean, and the beds were comfortable. Having a full kitchenette, washer, dryer, and full-size fridge was more than I expected. The facilities were easy to access, with shops and other places for leisure just a short walk away. The staff were well trained, too. Ramada made the stay worth the money, and I’d recommend it to anyone. Keep up the great work, Ramada.

Right on Wailoaloa Beach, with those gorgeous Fiji sunsets almost every night. The staff were great and really helpful, and the rooms and furniture were clean and modern. The beds felt like sleeping on a cloud. It’s self-contained accommodation, which worked well for us. The food here was okay, and there are plenty of other choices at nearby hotels and restaurants. There’s also a supermarket just a stone’s throw away, and the restaurant on top of it is worth checking out. We’d definitely stay again.
