We’d happily stay again. On the way to Tave Uni, we had a day pass for $38 USD, spent time by the pool and used the same amount as a meal credit. It covered our lunch, so that worked out really well. On the return layover from Tave Uni to Brisbane, the airport shuttle was quick and easy. Our room was clean, quiet and well equipped, possibly one of the newly refurbished ones. The staff were very helpful, and there was food available on site around the clock.

The food at the restaurant was delicious, and the staff were so warm and friendly. They always brought a smile to my face. This has become my new favourite hotel, and I’ll be back soon. We only stayed one night and wished we’d had a few more days. The room was spacious and clean, with a king bed and a bunk bed. It came with an iron and ironing board, mini fridge, tea and coffee supplies, water, milk, soap, conditioner and body wash. There was air conditioning and plenty of pillows and blankets. Being just across from Nadi Airport was very convenient, and the shuttle ran throughout the day. The place has really improved over the past few years.

The Wi-Fi router’s green light kept me awake for most of the night. Apart from that, it was a very good hotel close to the airport, with a really comfortable bed. The food was amazing, honestly the best we had on our whole trip.

We were only there briefly while in transit, but Gateway Hotel Fiji exceeded our expectations. The rooms were clean, neat, spacious and well stocked, and the beds were extremely comfortable. The food was delicious, and the pool and other amenities were spotless and well cared for. From airport pickup onward, the service was warm and friendly. Reception was efficient and kind, room service was prompt and professional, and the restaurant team were excellent. Mama Luisa deserves a special mention for her attentive, caring service and personal warmth. Everyone was so welcoming, a level of hospitality that can be hard to find at hotels. The team also knew the local attractions well and gave helpful recommendations. We’ll absolutely return on future trips to Fiji and recommend Gateway Hotel to anyone looking for comfort, convenience and great service. Vinaka vakalevu!

For a stopover, this worked really well. We had an eight-hour layover in Nadi and took the complimentary airport shuttle, just a five-minute drive to the hotel. A day pass for two adults and one child cost $100 FJD. We used it as a dining credit for the buffet and also enjoyed the pool while we waited. Great service. Even at 6 am, the waitresses were kind and engaging with my high-energy toddler. I’d highly recommend it.
