Leisure City Apartment

Kate made this a memorable stay. The apartment was simple and functional, with all the basics and a few thoughtful extras. There was a small coffee caddy with tea, sugar, and creamer, plus a little jar of delicious cookies. It was pristine and clearly kept to a high standard. We had lots of questions about getting around, restaurants, and things to see, and Kate was always easy to talk to and happy to help. She treated us like personal guests and made sure we had what we needed. On evenings when we cooked, she brought us delicious breadfruit and herbs from her garden. When our original tour transport plans fell through, Kate arranged transportation for the following week with Vimal, who also became our personal tour guide. His extensive local knowledge was invaluable. Thanks to Kate and Vimal, we got to immerse ourselves in the local culture and appreciate the heart of Fiji. Kate was warm, friendly, and attentive throughout. Staying at her rental was truly wonderful, and I wholeheartedly recommend it if you’re after a friendly host and an authentic experience.

The managers were warm, helpful, and made our stay memorable. The apartments are modern and very clean, with restaurants and shops an easy walk away. Tour pickups came right to the front door. Highly recommend it.

The manager shared the number of a good taxi driver, and there are several places to eat within a five-minute walk, including a Burger King. A shopping mall with a supermarket, bus stop, taxi stand, restaurants, and other shops is about ten minutes away. Tour shuttles for the cultural village or island cruises collect guests around the mall. We had booked a deluxe room but were moved to a ground-floor apartment. It was clean and roomy, with a full kitchen, fridge, air conditioning, ceiling fans in both the bedroom and living area, and laundry facilities. The bathroom was tiny, but the hot water was available around the clock with good pressure, and towels, soap, and shampoo were supplied. Tea and coffee were in the kitchen, though there was no bottled water. The windows and doors had security grills and fly screens, and the property's entrance gate worked by remote key. There was no sign showing the property's name.
