Salt Lake Lodge

We had a lovely stay and can’t wait to come back. Simon and Lilly are such warm hosts and took care of everything we asked for. Bring bug spray and repellent, though, as that’s just Fiji in general.

The staff were so lovely, and nothing we asked for felt like too much. They really went above and beyond to make our stay great. Oscar’s cooking was incredible too, easily the best food we had on the whole trip. The peaceful, beautiful setting made it even better. Salt Lake Lodge is by far the best place we stayed in Fiji. We hope to return soon.

Floating up to the salt lake was the real highlight, such a remarkable natural wonder. The villa was comfortable and had air conditioning, and we got breakfast every day. The chef’s service was amazing. Salt lake Lodge is a wonderful place to get away from it all, with great hospitality and room to relax.

We learned a lot about Fiji during our three nights here, and the staff were wonderful to talk with. Oscar checks in ahead of time about meals and can get the groceries, or you can choose them at the market yourself. On our last day, we surprised him with lobster and local fern, and he turned them into a delicious meal. The food was outstanding throughout. It’s a lovely place to unplug and be surrounded by nature. We’d come back. Thanks, Solo, Simon, Marie, Lily, and Oscar x 2 :)
