The private setting feels luxurious, and we'll be counting down until we can return. The staff shared their beautiful culture and surroundings with us, and served five-star meals. Every detail felt taken care of, from the elaborate table settings at each meal to the refreshing drinks waiting whenever we got back to the resort. The staff came to feel like family, and they gave us a magical vacation we'll always cherish.

Snorkelling straight out front was some of the best we've ever done. We stayed in the Horizon Villa at Taveuni Palms Resort, tucked into lovely gardens with incredible sea views to enjoy from the pool. It was quiet and private, and the staff were really lovely. The food was amazing, and the hosts made everything feel easy and relaxed. Such a perfect place to unwind!

We loved that meals, activities, and excursions were all arranged for us, so there was nothing to sort out and we could just relax. The resort is close to the airport but still feels private and peaceful, a great escape from busy city life. The beach and views were incredible, and our room was super comfortable and clearly set up to make things stress-free. We had an amazing time at Taveuni Palm Resort and are already looking forward to coming back!

We got married at this resort in 2008, then came back in October 2025. The owners have changed, but the service, food, grounds, and staff are still impeccable. They're incredible with the details, so be ready to be pampered.

The chefs Bua, Ishi, and Kiran can make whatever you ask for, but we were happiest letting them choose and enjoying dinner made from whatever was freshest that day. Lisa, Sia, and her daughter Jima are artists with flowers. On Taveuni the Garden Island, their arrangements were everywhere. During our 12 nights, our group had both houses, and every floral arrangement, table setting, and set of flowers on the bed was different each night. Veronika and Manoa are like genies. You pick up the "magic phone," tell them what you need, and it appears. If you're going off the compound, Duncan is the person to ask. I can't remember all the names of his helpers or the other people behind the scenes, but they all helped make the stay so "Wananavu" (awesome). The owners Colleen & Barry are from NewZealand. We asked Colleen where they go on vacation, and she said, "Where could we go? We already live in paradise." We have to agree. We're trying to figure out how to get back as soon as possible. Bobbi P.
