Two Bedroom Vacation Home In The Center Of Tórshavn

The house is just as it looks in the online photos, and everything was impeccably clean. We had all the things we needed, from kitchen supplies to shower gel, shampoo and conditioner. It’s a charming traditional little home in the capital, and we stayed six nights. The location is excellent for walking to the main sights and restaurants, and the SMS shopping center is very close. It has two floors: downstairs are bunk beds, the kitchen and a living room with a sofa; upstairs are a double bedroom and the bathroom. Watch out for the steep stairs. The main drawback is the bathroom, which is tiny and tucked into the attic under a low ceiling. There isn’t a proper shower, just a floor drain and a handheld showerhead attached to the sink. Even with the curtain, water got across the floor, though it dried quickly. It’s inconvenient, but manageable if you’re patient. We’re happy with the choice, since it’s more spacious and quaint than a hotel.
