The setting is very rural, though village amenities are still close by. We’ve stayed at les Galaines several times and always found it excellent. Our room was roomy and comfortable, with a very good en suite. Carole and Francois are lovely hosts, and they serve a generous, beautifully presented breakfast made with locally sourced produce. The gite is also very environmentally conscious. A peaceful, comfortable place to stay.

We came to France on vacation for the first time and had a fantastic stay here for three days. The people were lovely and breakfast was lovely too. I can't recommend the place enough, and we'll definitely stay again. Everyone should give it a try. Thanks again for such a great visit!

I was in the area for a couple of days looking at houses, and Les Galaines made a great base. François and Carole are delightful hosts and full of useful information. Their breakfasts are superb, with plenty of homemade and local produce. They can also prepare a 'plat repas' if you let them know ahead of time, which is handy if you're too tired to head out looking for a restaurant after arriving in the evening. I asked them where to go for dinner and was glad I took their recommendations. Next time I'm in the region, I'll try to book here again. Strongly recommended.

Fresh homemade treats at breakfast were a real highlight, and the room was lovely. Anyone looking for a warm welcome and first-class service will be happy here. We recommend this accommodation.

We felt completely at home at this inn. The family welcomed us so warmly, with real kindness. Carole even helped my wife with the laundry, and Francois arranged dinner reservations for us.
