The breakfast was delicious and varied, with a great espresso machine and fresh local orange blossom fougasse from the bakery. Everyone on staff was kind and hospitable. We had a very enjoyable stay at this wonderful hotel beside the canal and the entrance to the fortified city. Our room overlooked the city and canal, and was clean and comfortable, with nice bedding.

Handy location for us arriving by bicycle, and the service was exceptionally friendly. Their gorgeous dog Rita was a lovely bonus.

The shower was over a quite narrow bath. It was fine for me, though it could be awkward for larger people or anyone with mobility issues. The owner was delightful and helpful, as was the lady serving coffee in the breakfast room. A fine place to stay.

Waking up to that marvelous view was wonderful. The room was very comfortable and evenings were quiet. Definitely give the breakfast with local pastries a try!
