La Jariette

The setting is beautiful, with lovely scenery and characterful buildings, and there’s plenty of time to slow down and relax. Dani and Jon were such lovely hosts, making sure our break was enjoyable throughout. I had a wonderful time here with friends, and we’re definitely coming back. The facilities and food were superb too. Thanks so much for the hospitality, this five-star review is well deserved.

Our cycling club had a fantastic week exploring the quiet roads and rolling countryside, with lovely French towns along the way. Jon & Danielle made the trip easy, with airport pickup, route ideas and guided rides, café suggestions, and a bike store with tools to borrow. The gite was spacious and well equipped, the food and wine were restaurant quality, and the gardens, pool, sauna and hot tub were great for unwinding. Top class hospitality and accommodation. Thanks, Danielle and Jon, highly recommended.

After a day on the bikes, it was lovely to unwind in the pool or hot tub, or do a bit of yoga. Jon and Danielle made this a perfect cycling holiday, with secure bike storage and both guided and self-guided routes. The gite had thoughtful details, the house and grounds were magnificent, and the homegrown, home-cooked food was wonderful. The hosts were friendly and helpful throughout. It’s an unforgettable place for a cycling break. What more could you want?

We’d been told about this place, and staying here turned out to be a great choice. It’s a lovely, peaceful spot in the countryside, suited to a family holiday or a quiet break. The rooms were spacious and clean, and breakfast had a generous selection. We enjoyed eating outside with coffee and croissants. The pool is a real plus in summer, and there’s also a spa. I’d definitely recommend it.
