The staff were exceptional. When we accidentally left personal belongings behind, they helped arrange to send them to our next stop, at our cost. We were three family members, two parents and our adult daughter, and found the beds and pillows very comfortable. Our room was a good size, with a large bathroom, and we could refill still and sparkling water on our floor during the night. The hotel is right in the heart of town, within walking distance of markets, Christmas festivities, and restaurants. It’s an easy walk from the central bus terminal, and the train to Marsalis is across the road.

We’ve stayed at different hotels in and around Aix before, but this four-night stay made us feel like we’d found family. Emma, Tristana, Naomie, and Nasrat were so warm and welcoming that they made us want to come back and visit them. The room and location were secondary for us, but both were great too. Our room was clean, bright, and bigger, with an en-suite bathroom and bathtub. Buses and taxis are right in front of the building, while the train station, the Rotonde, and the Office de Tourisme are just a five-minute walk away.

The rooms were clean and nice. It’s well placed just outside Aix, within walking distance of the rotonde Square. If you’re driving, take the parking offer. Parking in Aix can be a nightmare, and other options cost much more.

The people working here were friendly and the service was good, and breakfast was good too. The location is convenient, really close to the centre. But the room, oh my, was tiny. We had two small suitcases and could barely find space to open them. It was clean, but the bedlinen and towels were so old they looked grey. This obviously isn’t a 4-star hotel, two stars at most.

The room was very nice, and the hotel is close to the old city without being right in the busy part of it. The Wi-Fi was terrible, though. We had to reconnect every time we got back, and the signal wasn’t strong.
